POWERSTATION BRINGS ELECTRIC HISTORY ALIVE

The Powerstation Museum has launched a new learning kit for primary school students, to help them explore Tamworth’s history both on site and online.
It’s designed to provide information about electricity and technology via a website.
The kit also allows students to have a hands-on experience at the museum by constructing small-scale electrical circuits.
“It’s all about lifelong learning and that inquiry learning about how things work and why they work and how life is now very different to how it used to be before electricity was in everyone’s home.”
