The Mariners have only just bowed out of the A-League comp for this year and have already suffered another blow, with Fabio Ferreira today confirming he will not be extending his contract with the Central Coast club beyond this season.
The Mariners say the 27-year-old will be joining an unnamed overseas club.
Famous for his flamboyance and spectacular goals, the Portuguese attacker left Adelaide United to link with the yellow and navy in 2015, making a 105 A-League appearances during his time with both clubs.
In all, Ferreira scored 28 A-league goals.
