An extensive sea and air search which resumed today for a 17-year-old boy, who disappeared in rough surf at Pebbly Beach north of Coffs Harbour on Saturday has failed to locate the teenager.
Police and surf life savers have combed the area where Ali Al-Mosawi was last seen swimming with his brother and three cousins.
The family of the Sydney Year-11 student have maintained a vigil at the remote beach in the Yuragir National Park.
No decision has been made on how long the search will continue.
