O’DONOVAN TO LEAVE MARINERS

Mariners Coach Paul Okon has confirmed leading goal scorer Roy O’Donovan has played his last game for the Central Coast.

“we wish Roy well he’s been great value for us he is a goal scorer and I think whichever tem has him will be very lucky.”

The revelation came after the side’s one nil loss to Melbourne Victory last night – its final game of the season.

The result means the Mariners are now reliant on the Jets losing their match tonight to avoid taking out the wooden spoon for the second year running.
