LAMBTON KEEP TOP SPOT WITH DRAW AGAINST THE MAGIC

It’s hard to believe considering the sunshine of the past few days, but today’s NPL fixture between Jets Youth and Edgeworth was washed out – the ground still too wet.

Last night an injury-hit Lambton remained on top of the table following a draw with Magic.

Joel Griffiths scored the game’s opening goal from the spot – but hurt himself in the process.

He joined Pat Brown and Luke Remington in the stands.

A handball on Nathan Morris midway through the second, allowed Kale Bradbury to level the score.

Hamilton hosts Charlestown tonight.
