DRY EASTER LONG WEEKEND, WITH CHILLY MORNINGS
Another glorious day across the region – it’s shaping up as a sunny and dry Easter long weekend.
But it was a chilly start for areas of New South Wales.
Parts of the Northern Tablelands and Upper Hunter awoke to their coldest April morning since 2015 today.
Armidale and Scone recorded their coldest April morning since April 28, 2015.
Scone fell to a low of 5, while Armidale recorded a chilly low of 3.6, prior to sunrise.
A ridge of high pressure over southeastern parts of the country has led to clear pre-dawn skies, with temperatures plummeting as a result.
