Staff and a customer at a Gold Coast seafood shop have escaped injury after a car barrelled into the front of the store this morning.
Police say that the car went through the glass front doors and came to rest up against the sales counter just before 11:45am.
It’s alleged the 50-year-old female driver from Runaway Bay returned a preliminary breath test reading of 0.277.
The woman has was taken to hospital for further testing for drugs and alcohol.
