It’s crunch time this weekend for five Northern Inland Academy of Sport squads, travelling to the Central Coast for the annual Academy Games.
115 athletes will represent the region, in basketball, rugby sevens, golf, hockey and netball.
Having trained for the last two months, they’ll take on 10 other regional academies.
The basketballers have a tough act to follow, with the boys and girls squads both going through last year’s tournament undefeated.
