WATERWAYS WILDLIFE PARK REJECTS LIFELINE

The future of Gunnedah’s Waterways Wildlife Park is once again up in the air.
In November last year, council allocated $100,000 to owners Nancy and Col Smalls to hire a full-time park manager.
However, the pair has chosen to decline the offer, deciding to pursue other options.
The Smalls have been working closely with the Department of Primary Industries to ensure the park complies with safety regulations.
