WEATHER: HOTTEST DAY IN 11 YEARS FOR COOLANGATTA

North east New South Wales and south east Queensland were very hot today, as the sea breeze took a long time to kick in.
Coolangatta has only reached 37.1 degrees four times in the past 30 years.
Further south, a dry southerly helped keep temperatures down from Coffs Harbour to Gosford. Inland it was even hotter.
It will be hot again tomorrow with another trough set to fire up more storms across the region in the afternoon.
