Hospitals across the Manning and Gloucester areas are set to benefit from new electric beds.
The beds will replace the existing manual facilities, with Manning Base to receive 70 and Gloucester Hospital 58.
Wingham Community Hospital is in line for 28, including one bariatric bed worth $16,000.
Almost 900 new beds will be rolled out across the Hunter New England Health district as part of the state government’s $3.3-million bed replacement program.
