A man has been tied up and assaulted during an alleged kidnapping on the Central Coast.
Around midday on Saturday, police responded to reports a man was tied up at a home on Dunbar Way in North Gosford.
They found a 56-year-old man tied up and suffering head and chest injuries when they arrived.
The victim was taken to Gosford Hospital in a serious condition, with suspected collapsed lungs and broken ribs.
Police investigations led to the arrest of a a 29-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man.
Both were charged with cause grievous bodily harm to person with intent, and kidnap in company.
