A Brooklet resident has intruded on the mealtime of large python, capturing the constrictor making a meal out of a possum.
Nathan Cooper was out jogging when he stumbled across the sight on a suburban street in Suffolk Park.
“Just noticed the movement and noticed a magpie watching the movement, so I walked up and saw the snake and the poor possum”
He said while the encounter was a reminder of the amazing wildlife that lives in the region and the need to look after the environment…
But, he has no plans to follow in David Attenborough’s footsteps.
