JETS LOOKING TO KEEP FINALS HOPES ALIVE

Wellington will be missing SEVEN players to international duty this weekend, but the Jets won’t be taking the Phoenix lightly, as they look to keep their finals hopes alive.

“No game’s easy in the A-League. If we don’t go there with the right mentality then we can come back and our season could be over,” said Jason Hoffman.

Hoffman returns from suspension for the clash.

Today he channelled Elvis when asked about his motivation.

“The motivation is enough that we can still make the finals and if I can be effective and play a part in that then I’m doing my job. But in saying that it’s about a little less conversation and I guess a little more action.”
