FRINGE FESTIVAL ARRIVES IN NEWCASTLE

There was a little piece of Paris in Newcastle’s Hunter Street Mall today, with jugglers, magicians and cabaret songstress, Sylvia Brecko, putting on an impromptu performance.

They’re all part of the Fringe Festival which is underway across eight venues, including Birdwood Park and Christ Church Cathedral.

The program runs until Sunday and features more than 100 acts, from comedy to circus, dance and drama.
