A 19-year-old male will face court tomorrow, charged over a stabbing on the mid north coast.
Around 11:30pm yesterday, emergency services responded to reports of a stabbing at a property on Kelly Street in Corindi Beach.
There they found a 41-year-old man with stab wounds to his chest.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
The man remains a stable condition following surgery with non-life threatening injuries.
Enquiries led police to an address on Coral Street in Corindi Beach, where they arrested the 19-year-old about 9.15am today.
He was later charged with wound person with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.
Police believe the incident to be domestic-related.
