Tinonee Public School holds ‘Kids-preneur’ day

They’re not even teenagers yet but Tinonee Public School students have learnt the basics of creating a business.
Dubbed the ‘kids-preneur’ day, students had to craft a financial plan and sell products to parents and the community.
Lollies, cupcakes and comic books were all hot commodity.
“It’s also part of our maths curriculum which is financial planning and to develop their entrepreneurial skills,” assistant principal Jo Elliott said.
Funds raised will go to Taree’s Koalas In Care service and the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital.
