A man has driven on the wrong side of the road, and collided with another vehicle on the Gold Coast.
Police received calls shortly before 9pm yesterday about a white Toyota Hilux ute being driven dangerously on tram tracks before colliding with a vehicle on Thomas Drive in Surfers Paradise.
The vehicle then allegedly travelled the wrong way down Cavill Avenue and continued on Ferry Road before stopping at roadworks on Skiff Street.
Police arrested the 47-year-old driver without incident and charged him with dangerous and unlicensed driving.
