A diamond python has made the roof of a Merewether house her new home.
Affectionately known as Diana, the 1.5-metre reptile is thought to have travelled from Glenrock reserve to the Hillcrest Road property.
Snake catchers say she’s not a threat to pets, instead choosing to eat rats and birds.
Diana will remain in the Merewether roof for the time being, with the owners happy for her to live there.
