Police have seized 15 vehicles and several car parts as part of an ongoing investigation into car theft in Lake Macquarie.
Yesterday officers executed a search warrant at a house on Main Road at Edgeworth, and found a stolen 4WD, stolen box trailer and two 4WD engines.
It follows the arrest of a 17-year-old boy last Friday after more allegedly stolen goods were found in Suttor Street in Edgeworth.
The teen will face a children’s court later this month.
In total the operation has recovered 15 stolen vehicles and six people have been charged with 13 offences.
