A 26 year old man – wanted over two assaults – has allegedly lashed out at police over the weekend.
Officers claim the man became violent when they attempted to arrest him at a Ballina home – forcing them to use capsicum spray.
The accused was eventually detained and is now facing eight charges, including assault police and resist police.
