Chatham High School will take on Tumut High in next week’s University Shield Rugby League semi finals.
It’s the first time Chatham High has made the semis of the University Shield in 28 years.
The local boys defeated Kingscliff in the quarter finals last week.
It was a close game, but Chatham managed to seal the win with a try by Sean Ridgeway in the final minutes of play, taking them down 20-points to 18.
Chatham coach, Craig Mitchell, says the team is working well and he’s confident of a good result in next Wednesday’s clash.
