ASSISTANCE SOUGHT TO FIND ALLEGED CARRINGTON INTRUDER
Police are seeking a man after an attempted break and enter in Newcastle.
Shortly before 4.30pm on Saturday the 11th of February, a 45-year-old man heard a noise in his backyard on Denison Street in Carrington.
The resident went to investigate, and was confronted by an unknown man who allegedly smashed a rear window of his home.
The intruder fled on foot, heading along Marsden Street in Carrington.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police would like to a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 25 to 30 years of age, of average build, with straight light brown/sandy hair.
He was last seen wearing a baseball style hat, no shirt, cream coloured shorts and blue and white shoes.
