PAPADATOS WINS VICTORIAN OPEN

Central Coast golfer Dimitrios Papadatos has taken out the Victorian Open.

On a cold and windy day, his approach shot on the 15th on the Barwon Heads Links Course, put him in a commanding position.

He drained the putt to take the outright lead.

The 25 year-old was in superb touch around the greens, and almost sunk a monster birdie on 17.

Despite pulling his tee shot to the right, Papadatos comfortably parred the final hole in front of a large gallery, to finish at 16 under for the tournament, and claimed victory by two strokes.
