LIGHT UP TAMWORTH

Tamworth’s Councillors will vote on a $1.4 million street light replacement program at tomorrow night’s program.
About 6,000 fluorescent and mercury vapour lamps are set to be switched to LED.
Essential Energy says the change could result in saving $1.7 million, and nearly 700 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
