DRIVERS URGED TO TAKE CARE AT RAIL CROSSINGS

The region’s drivers are being urged to take care around level rail crossings with a new campaign targeting risky behaviour.
From today until the end of the month, police will be focussing on a number of rail crossings in the Tamworth region to ensure drivers are not speeding and obeying traffic signs.
The ‘tracks mean trains’ campaign is a joint initiative between the state’s police force and Transport for New South Wales.
