A disappointing result for air race pilot Matt Hall in qualifying at the opening event of the season in Abu Dhabi.
Hall finished 13th on the standings, and will face American Michael Goulian in the opening round this evening.
Goulian scorched through practice to qualify second.
Hall is still getting used to a borrowed aircraft as he waits to arrival of his 2017 race plane.
