Narrabri Shire Council has been forced to issue a statement after an internal email was made public on Facebook.
Sent to all employees, it asked them to vote in an online survey being conducted by a national newspaper regarding CSG in the region, noting that protestors had been actively sharing it.
Before going on to ask its workforce to ‘hopefully portray a more accurate result of what the community wants.’
Narrabri Shire Council told NBN News that it made its employees aware of the poll to ‘enable their voices to be heard as residents of the Shire.’
