A 20-year-old man will face court today, charged over a shooting at Mayfield on Australia Day.
Police allege the man went to Baker Street and shot two rounds from a handgun at a man and a woman on the opposite side of the road.
Fortunately the pair weren’t injured.
Officers later seized a handgun, cash, cannabis and MDMA from a unit on Hanbury Street.
Yesterday the 20-year-old was arrested and charged with a string of firearm and drug offences.
