There’s good news for the Newcastle Community Arts Centre, with the group finding a temporary new home after the current one was sold.
Following 27 years in Hamilton, it will soon relocate to the Tighes Hill TAFE campus.
A ‘go fund me’ page has also been set up, in a bid to raise $50,000 for the move.
“Because it looked like we were going to close down at the end of last year, we had to halt a lot of our community activities and it’s going to take a bit of time to get those re-established,” said Natalie Engdahl from the NCAC.
