DISQUALIFIED DRIVER ALLEGEDLY CAUGHT DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

A disqualified driver on the mid-north coast has appeared in court after allegedly being caught driving an unregistered vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Police stopped the man on Manning River Drive in Taree, about 10pm last night for a random breath test.
The 40-year-old – who is disqualified from driving until 2046 – returned an alleged reading of 0.231. The vehicle he was driving was also unregistered.
He has been charged with a number of offences, including driving with a high-range PCA, driving while disqualified, and use of an unregistered vehicle.
Lock him up to safeguard his daughter and the community! Its game over!
