Three men are on the run after a terrifying armed robbery at the Williamtown McDonald’s.
Armed with a sawn-off shotgun, a baseball bat and a machete, the trio stormed the outlet at around 11 o’clock last night.
They raided registers and a safe, making off with cash and other items… and were last seen on Nelson Bay Road.
One worker suffered minor injuries in the ordeal.
