Multi-award winning nature photographer Craig Parry officially launches his new Byron Bay gallery tonight.
The gallery features underwater, aerial and marine wildlife photographs – the majority, captured on the Northern Rivers.
“It’s been a dream of mine to open in Byron Bay, I just dive 100 metres across the road there a lot, so to be able to bring that back in a picture form so people can appreciate what’s under the water, it’s exciting”
The highlight – a rare, close-up of the famous albino humpback whale Migaloo.
“In July last year I had the honour of Migaloo coming right to my boat and I captured and amazing photo of him, so that’s probably been a highlight of my career.”
