Manning Cricket Association will meet tonight to gage the support of a premier league first grade competition next season.
The plan would include teams from three associations, including Hastings and Macleay, who will also hold similar meetings later this month.
“It’ll be a premier league so they’ll all be tied in together, you get the best of the best playing each other, there’s avenues for juniors something to aspire to there’s even avenues for businesses,” Mid North Coast Cricket Council president Gordon Cross said.
A final decision will be made in March.
