A man from the Central Coast will appear in court after a nude pitch invasion during last night’s Big Bash game at the SCG.
The 27-year-old from Wamberal entered the playing area with another man, a 23-year-old man from Pitt Town, in the game between the Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder.
One of the men made it to the pitch and pulled a stump out of the ground in front of over 40,000 people.
They were restrained by security before being arrested by police.
They have been issued with court attendance notices for entering the playing field without authorisation. They are due to appear in court on the 1st of March.
The men face an automatic ban and $5500 in fines.
