With festival-goers already filtering into the city, four people have arrived from the United States, eager to learn.
The group come from sister city Nashville, and will assist council with the day-to-day running of the Country Music Festival.
Surveys have also been sent out to local high schools, to gauge students’ interest in doing the same thing in the U.S.
“Nashville is very keen to have a reciprocal visit from Tamworth students. We expect that that visit will take place some time in the next 12 months.”
