A 30-year-old man will face a Mid North Coast court today, after he allegedly discharged a firearm in a public place over the weekend.
It’s alleged the man shot a rifle near a hotel in Bowraville on Sunday night, but no-one was injured.
The accused was arrested in a motor vehicle yesterday at Blackberry Lane, where police also allege they found cannabis seeds and cannabis plants.
The man was later charged with a number of offences including common assault, discharging a firearm, drug possession and possessing an unregistered firearm.
