Country music superstar Keith Urban has claimed the first Golden Guitar of the year taking out the Top Selling Australian Country Album of the Year for his platinum selling ‘Ripcord’ album.
For the first time ever the winner was based on sales figures compiled by ARIA for 20-16.
Adam Harvey and The Outlaws came in at number two, while John Williamson was number three.
The accolade will be presented at the Golden Guitar Awards on January 28.
