Police are hoping to speak with a man as part of their investigations into reptiles being sent through the post in Newcastle.
Around 10:30pm on Wednesday, police were contacted by staff at a post office centre in Glendale, after they discovered reptiles inside a parcel.
A snake handler was called, who found three snakes in the package. The snakes ranged from 0.2m to 1.2m in length.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately.
The snakes are now with the appropriate authorities who are taking care of them. Their species has not been confirmed.
