Lake Keepit’s blue-green algae warning has been lifted, with conditions now safe for swimmers to return to the water.
The dam has been on a red-alert level since November.
The news couldn’t come at a better time, with the mercury set to soar in the coming days.
Temperatures are due to hit the low to mid 30s on Saturday and Sunday before creeping up towards 40 degrees from Monday next week.
