SNOWDEN FACING SUSPENSION

Newcastle Knights player Kade Snowden could be suspended for three weeks after being hit with a Grade 2 dangerous contact charge, that fractured a Penrith player’s cheekbone.
Snowden was charged with a raised knee on Panther’s player Adam Docker in yesterday’s win.
Snowden faces a two game suspension with an early guilty plea, or three if he contests the charge at the judiciary on Wednesday night and loses.
No on-field action was taken against Snowden.
Speaking to the media prior to the charge was announced Snowden said “that’s just how I was running, I didn’t do it on purpose so I feel sorry for him but that’s just how I run.”
” I really don’t want to miss any games, I’m pretty scared about that but I’ll just leave it in their hands and hopefully they can see I didn’t do it on purpose.”
