FLYING FOX PLAN SLOW ON THE TAKE UP
Tamworth Regional Council is urging the public to provide feedback on its proposed flying fox plan, with only a handful of submissions received over the past month.
Council is attributing the lack of responses to a dormant flying fox population over the past six months.
Typically, more than 80,000 flying foxes would inhabit trees near King George the Fifth Avenue.
The draft management plan will be on public exhibition until January 13.
