Liverpool Plains Shire Council has committed to helping the Willow Tree Bowling Club get back on its feet, following Tuesday’s devastating inferno which destroyed the club’s hall.
Mayor Andrew Hope has vouched to help the club find a temporary home, proposing the Willow Tree Visitor Information Centre as a possibility.
A tender for the centre’s cafe was due to be announced this month, but its general manager has put those plans on hold.
Councillors will make a decision at their first meeting in February.
