MAN SUFFERS SERIOUS INJURIES IN HIGHWAY CRASH
A 37-year-old man has somehow survived, after his car ran up the back of a semi-trailer on the Pacific Highway near Grafton, just after midday.
Coffs, Clarence Inspector, Joanne Reid says the front of the white Commodore wound up under the rig, which was parked on the side of the road.
“There were no brake lights, this driver’s just inexplicably left the laneway and collided heavily with the back of that semi-trailer, obviously there’s some serious injuries.”
The man was freed from the wreckage and airlifted to Lismore Base Hospital in a serious condition.
