THREE D.U.I. ARRESTS ON THE SAME NIGHT FOR NARRABRI P-PLATER
A P-plater is due to face court after being arrested three times in the space of five hours in north west New South Wales for allegedly driving under the influence.
At around 6pm yesterday, a 34-year-old man was stopped on the Newell Highway, Narrabri, following complaints from other drivers.
He allegedly returned a positive roadside breath test, and was issued with a court attendance notice. His driver’s licence was also suspended.
Then just before 8pm, the same driver was stopped at Narrabri. Officers allege he again returned a positive breath test. He was taken to Narrabri Police Station, issued a second court notice and placed on conditional bail.
At around 10:20pm, police stopped the same man north of Narrabri. Another positive test was allegedly recorded, and the man was charged with mid-range PCA, driving while suspended and breaching bail.
