KNIFE AND DRUGS ALLEGEDLY LOCATED AFTER CENTRAL COAST PURSUIT

Police say a man with three outstanding warrants has been arrested following a pursuit on the Central Coast.

At around 6:30am this morning, officers observed a blue Holden Commodore doing a burnout on the Central Coast Highway, near the intersection of Bateau Bay Road.

Police allege the driver failed to stop, and a pursuit ensued.

A foot chase through bushland began after the vehicle was found abandoned near the intersection of Coleridge Street at Bateau Bay.

A 29-year-old man was arrested shortly after – it’s alleged he was found carrying a quantity of prohibited drug and a knife.
