A 17-year-old boy with severe head injuries remains in a critical condition in the Gold Coast Hospital after he was airlifted from Corindi late yesterday afternoon.
Paramedics say the boy was riding his skateboard down a hill in MacDougall Street at around 5pm when he fell and struck his head on the road.
It’s understood the boy and his family, who are from Mount Isa, were staying at a nearby caravan park.
