TAMWORTH WELCOMES YOUTH WORLD CUP

Flags were waved, boots glistened and onlookers proudly rose, in celebration of today’s opening ceremony of the 20th American Quarter Horse Association’s International Youth World Cup.
110 competitors from 13 different countries will take part in the competition, with more than 100 horses donated from across the nation.
“The horses are sorted into groups, the kids go in and draw a number and the number is that nations group. They ‘ve never ridden them, they’ve never seen them and they get to show them.”
