TWO MEN SOUGHT OVER DEATH OF 50-YEAR-OLD ON THE GOLD COAST
Police are appealing for assistance from the public after the death of a 50-year-old man on the Gold Coast this morning.
Just before 1:30am, police responded to reports of a man being struck by a vehicle at an address on Rio Vista Boulevard in Broadbeach Waters.
It’s understood two armed men arrived at a unit at the address just prior to the incident, with an altercation ensuing.
As they attempted to leave, a 50-year-old man was struck by a vehicle.
The men then fled the scene in the vehicle, believed to be a newer style black sedan, possibly a Commodore or Camry.
A 50-year-old man from Yatala was treated for injuries at the scene, but died shortly after.
Police now wish to speak to two men both described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 180cm tall, with a thin build and possibly aged in their early 20s.
