It was a slow journey north…for motorists on the Pacific Highway today.
At Macksville…traffic was queued for more than 15-kilometres south of the town…causing lengthy delays.
Motorists are being urged to allow more travel time over the coming days…with delays of more than an hour expected.
The good news for holiday makers and locals – this should be the last Christmas snarl they’ll have to endure with the Macksville bypass set to open next year.
